H.O.T. DOG = Hands Off The DOG

FAQ

  1. Q:  What is the “HOT DOG METHOD” all about?

A: The HOT DOG METHOD is short for Hands Off The DOG.” It is a revolutionary method of handling dogs. Or rather, not handling them. It is natural for dogs to run and play and jump and learn at the speed of light. It’s not natural (to them anyway) to be grabbed, yanked, shocked, choked etc… While these methods may work, they also have side effects. The main side effect of manhandling dogs  is biting. Many dogs will bite in self defense from what they see as an assault. Especially difficult or “problem” dogs.

Traditional, dominance “pack leader” style dog training  as popularized by the Dog Whisperer is more like “restraining” or “inhibiting dogs. The HOT DOG METHOD sets dogs free. It sets their minds free for explosive growth and learning. It sets their owners free to run and walk and exercise and enjoy the world together. With very little effort. 2. Q: Will the HOT DOG METHOD work on my dog?

A: The HOT DOG METHOD will work on any dog.
For now, don’t try the offleash training in the street. That is just Michael showing off.  Showing what is possible without any leash corrections whatsoever. You and your dog are probably not ready for that yet. This method is brand new to the world. We want it to spread, but not at the expense of your dog getting run over. So be careful. But you are ready, right now, right this moment to start experimenting with the HOT DOG METHOD in your house, in your backyard, or in a park. Just don’t try it near a busy street!

You may come up with your own mods on the HOT DOG method and you can come back and share them.  Use your mind and creativity. Like any great idea, this should spread across the web and the world. With all of your help in coming up with your own HOT DOG mods for training your own dogs.
